Load-sensing hydraulics allow several movements (lifting, telescoping, slewing) to be carried out simultaneously without loss of speed. The solution: use of a Manitou MRT 3060. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the machine could be manoeuvred through a narrow gate. Equipped with a 3D work basket, the team of restorers could not only reach the height but also steer the basket precisely under projections and behind cornices.

• Result: the rental period was reduced from the planned six weeks to four weeks, as the flexibility of the roto telehandler accelerated the workflow considerably. The integrated radio remote control also allowed the operator to control the machine directly from the work basket, improving communication between ground staff and tradespeople.
