Wheel loader rental at Luibl

Wheel loaders are very versatile machines. Above all, however, they are used wherever soil, rubble or building materials need to be moved. They are most effective over short distances, for example to load a lorry. There are wheel loaders with many different bucket volumes and various attachments for a wide range of uses. We have wheel loaders with plenty of accessories and with different bucket capacities and payloads in our rental fleet. Send us a request for your wheel loader including accessories today.

Which wheel loaders can I rent?

Wheel loaders are highly modern, versatile, large construction machines. With a wide variety of buckets and attachments they can be adapted perfectly to any situation. To choose the right wheel loader, you should consider the site conditions and the requirements placed on the machine. We offer a large number of different models, which can be distinguished as follows:

The main distinguishing feature of wheel loaders is the bucket volume. The volume is measured in cubic metres – 1 cbm corresponds exactly to 1 m³ of bucket capacity. A distinction is made between mini wheel loaders or compact loaders and large loaders.

Renting a mini wheel loader is very popular with our customers. They have a capacity of less than 0.5 cbm and therefore a much smaller bucket. They are often used in landscaping and grounds maintenance. They are also well suited to any location where space is limited. This is due to their smaller bucket, which is not as wide. Their dead weight is also considerably lower. They should not be confused with the mini excavator: it digs with a bucket on the boom, while the compact loader pushes and loads with its bucket. Large loaders are wheel loaders whose bucket has a capacity of more than 1.5 m³. They belong to the class of heavy wheel loaders and take on high-volume tasks. These include extraction, demolition work and moving large quantities of soil or rubble. However, they are much wider and find it harder to move in confined surroundings.

Wheel loader steering types

The next thing to consider when renting a wheel loader is the type of steering. A distinction is made between skid steering, articulated steering and all-wheel steering. Machines with skid steering can drive their wheels individually, allowing them to turn on the spot. This makes them very agile in tight spaces.

With articulated steering, the front part of the machine moves independently when the steering wheel is turned. This allows very precise alignment and positioning, enabling precise tasks such as positioning pallets. All-wheel-steered wheel loaders are very manoeuvrable. This makes them the best choice on sites where manoeuvrability plays a major role.

Wheel loader attachments

Thanks to the wide range of attachments, you can adapt your wheel loader perfectly to almost any situation. These attachments completely change the use of your machine and are very easy to fit. For example, we offer pallet forks for transporting pallets. We also offer a snow plough blade that lets you clear your yard of snow faster than ever.

Are you looking for an aerial work platform or an excavator? We are also happy to help with other construction machinery – from one day to several months, we have the right rental solution for you. Of course, our rental fleet also includes construction machinery, excavators, compact loaders and aerial work platforms.

Which wheel loader do you need? Three questions to help you choose

  1. How much material do you move per hour? This determines the bucket volume. Compact loaders under 0.5 m³ work in landscaping and grounds maintenance and wherever space is tight. Large loaders from 1.5 m³ handle demolition, extraction and loading large quantities.

  2. How tight is the site? Width and turning circle decide the choice of machine more often than power. Articulated machines position very precisely, models with skid steering turn on the spot.

  3. What else should the machine be able to do besides loading? Pallet fork, snow blade, sweeper or grab extend its use considerably. Attachments are priced separately and change the payload and tipping load.

For excavation and civil engineering work, the wheel loader is not the right machine – the excavator is. If material also has to be lifted, a telehandler is the more versatile machine – it loads, stacks and reaches over obstacles.

How much does it cost to rent a wheel loader?

The rental price depends on machine class, bucket volume, attachments, rental period and transport. Daily, weekly and monthly rates are staggered; the longer the term, the lower the calculated daily rate. Delivery and collection are shown separately from the equipment rental and depend on the transport distance, transport weight and site access.

Included are an inspected machine with a valid periodic inspection under the Working Conditions Decree, maintenance and recurring inspections during the rental period, and technical advice on choosing the machine. Tell us the material, handling volume, space available and rental period – and you will receive an itemised quote.

You can find more machines for earthworks and material handling under Construction machinery rental, and the full range in our rental fleet.

FAQ: wheel loader rental

chevronDown

What size of wheel loader do I need?

The bucket volume depends on the quantity you move per hour. Compact loaders under 0.5 m3 work in landscaping and in confined areas. Large loaders from 1.5 m3 handle demolition, extraction and loading large volumes.

What is the difference between a wheel loader and a mini excavator?

The wheel loader pushes and loads with the bucket and moves material over short distances. The mini excavator digs with a bucket on the boom and works from a stationary position. The two machines do not replace each other - for excavation you need the excavator.

Which steering is the right one?

Articulated-steering machines position very precisely and are suited to accurate work with pallet forks. Models with skid steering turn on the spot and have the advantage in tight spaces. All-wheel-steer wheel loaders are particularly manoeuvrable on site.

What attachments are available?

In addition to the standard bucket, these include a pallet fork, snow plough, sweeper, grab and high-tip bucket. Attachments are priced separately and change the payload and tipping load - they therefore belong in the enquiry.

Do I need a qualification to drive it?

For earthmoving machines on company premises, instruction and the required operator competence in line with applicable Dutch health and safety rules are needed; the employer appoints the operator.

Can I use the wheel loader for winter road maintenance?

Yes, with a snow plough or sweeper as an attachment. State the intended use in your enquiry so that we can deliver the right attachment together with the machine.

What is included in the rental price?

An inspected machine with a valid periodic inspection of work equipment under the Working Conditions Decree, maintenance and recurring inspections during the rental period, and technical advice on choosing the machine. Transport, fuel and attachments are shown separately.

How is the wheel loader delivered?

Delivered by low-loader to your site, using our own fleet. Delivery and collection are shown separately from the machine rental and depend on distance, transport weight and access to the site.
